Baselayers are one of the most important parts to any layering system for all sorts of activities, from Running, Skiing to walking. Baselayes key feature is to wick away any sweat from next to the skin, to give you the feeling of being dry.

Base layers come in different weights and fabrics. So if you want a baselayer for a hot summer’s day, choose a short sleeve top with a relaxed look and feel to it. If you are looking at doing a more vigorous or active sport, you may need something a little more fitted or body mapped from the likes of The North Face or Helly Hansen.

If you would like something bit warmer. Choose a close fitting long sleeve top, which has bit more weight to it, or even uses Merino wool. These will provide warmth, wicking and performance all in one..
