7+ Man Tents

Choosing a tent of this size can be daunting, but here are a few points to choose.

-          Would you like a longer lasting tent? If so then choose a tent with a higher specification flysheet, have a look at the Hydrostatic Head “hh” on the tent. Anything higher than 3000 is good 5000 is excellent and these will stay waterproof for longer in life.

-          Choose if you would like Fiberglass of Steel Poles. Although Fiberglass poles are user replaceable and spares regular available, steel poles will be allot stronger in windier conditions and considered much better for the bigger tents. Also it is extremely rare to see one break.

-          Have a look at the tent layout, If it’s not quite big enough see if the tent has a matching Canopy or awning to attach to the tent to provide that bit more space for cooking or sitting under in wet weather.
