If you are just fair weather rider who only goes out when it’s a beautiful clear day and hides in the shops or bar when is snowy or over cast. You will need to choose a Lens that is Mirror lens. The sun is very strong on a ski slope, with double the power from direct sun and reflection from the snow. The Mirror lens goggles will reflect this providing clear vision all over the Slopes. Another way to spot this is by the Lense catagory generally 3-4 will be perfect.
