Outdoor Action – Age Restricted Sales Policy

Outdoor Action complies fully with the Offensive Weapons Act 2019 and we strongly support the government’s efforts to prevent the sale of knives and other age-restricted items to anyone under 18 years of age.

When placing an order for any of our age-restricted products, you will be required to confirm that you are over the age of 18.

Our website uses secure age verification technology during checkout. This process uses the information you provide, including your date of birth, to confirm your identity and verify that you are 18 or older. To ensure a successful check, please provide accurate details. Data is shared with accredited third-party providers who use multiple trusted sources to verify age. The system we use is compliant with PAS1296 (Online Age Verification with British Standards). Outdoor Action does not have access to the personal data retained by these providers.

If your age cannot be verified through this process, we will contact you directly by phone or email and request a clear copy of valid identification (Passport, Driving Licence, or National Identity Card). If this information cannot be provided, your order will be cancelled and refunded.

We also reserve the right to refuse an order if we have reasonable grounds to believe the purchaser is under 18, or if there is evidence to suggest that the item may be supplied to someone under the age of 18.

Delivery Requirements
Our delivery partners operate an Age Verification on Delivery service. All parcels containing age-restricted items are clearly marked as unsuitable for under 18s. Upon delivery, the recipient will be required to provide valid photo identification (Passport, Driving Licence, or National Identity Card) and a signature before the parcel can be released. If suitable ID is not provided, or if delivery cannot be completed after repeated attempts, the order will be returned to us.
