FROSTLINE 5.0™ is insulated and waterproof, with excellent grip, made for all day comfort.

5MM INSU-FOAM ULTRA™ - gives all round foot comfort and insulation.

6mm NITROCELL™ footbed - provides a soft cushioning for an athletic shoe feel. A million microscopic nitrogen bubbles that insulate the wearer from cold surfaces.

UNDERFOOT CHASSIS™ - give a sure footed platform.

HEXZORB™technology - absorbs heel strike shock for daylong comfort.

SUPERDRI™ lining - is hard wearing, wicks moister away from the wearer’s foot to prevent a sweaty and uncomfortable feel. It is fungus and rot proof so will not smell like cotton-lined boots.

TRAX™ outsole - superior grip on a variety of surfaces, the tread is designed to work with the action of the foot

Most GRUBS Rubber footwear uses our self-insulating INSU-FOAM ULTRA™bootie construction which acts as a neutral medium between the wearer and the outside. The bootie is both waterproof and insulating and exceeds the long-term effectiveness of waterproof membranes and lofted insulations. Our boots are waterproof to EN ISO 20344: 2004 5.7 standard.

We use a super stretch Chloroprene material commonly used in Deep sea dry suits, this material has a 300% stretch and is covered with a 4 way stretch knitted nylon jersey which as suggested can expand not only in width but also height. This super stretch means the bootie can stretch up to 150% as a laminate with our SUPER-DRI™, moisture wicking terry knit lining. INSU-FOAM ULTRA™has a fine micro cellular structure, which stops heat transfer through its structure. The microscopic bubbles of air are so small that it is waterproof even in 3.5mm thickness.

INSU-FOAM ULTRA™is super soft and super bouncy, it has a compression set of less than 7% verses 20-25% for other neoprene boots, they remain soft and comfortable for much longer than our competitors. Other manufacturers use Styrene Butadiene Rubber, SBR, foams that are stiffer and harden over time, SBR also has a larger and more irregular bubble structure, boots made of this material are harder, making them uncomfortable and prone to leak through the bootie.

5.0 TECHNOLOGY™

The Bootie is lined with moisture wicking SUPER-DRI™ terry knit, which keeps the wearer dry and has a super 100% stretch to fit most calves. As INSU-FOAM ULTRA™ is a temperature Neutral material it will keep the wearers foot comfortable in a range of 85ºF to sub zero for a prolonged period.

TRAX™ Sole

TRAX™ Sole, (DURAPRENE™rubber) outsole with HEXZORB™, which give superior grip on a variety of surfaces, the tread is designed to work with the action of the foot into zones for Grip, Traction, Stability and breaking.

Can i try Footwear at home first?

With any pair of footwear Outdoor Action lets you try them on at home in side your home so that you can make sure they are the correct fit and you are happy with them.  Providing any footwear has not been worn outside and they come back in there original box and resalable we can accept them back for exchange or refund.  Unfortunately,  we cannot accept any footwear back if they have been worn outside or they are not in their original condition*.

UK Postage

To provide the best possible service we use different courier services depending on the item Size, Weight and service selected. The Couriers we use are Royal Mail, Amazon Shipping, DPD & FedEx.
Most deliveries are made per working day [Monday to Friday] and exclude bank holidays, If you feel you will not be in to receive your parcel, please take advantage of using a different delivery address where someone can take delivery. All our couriers have pick up locations and can be selected once you have the tracking number and the courier has the parcel.

Deliveries are made between 8am till 9pm unless a specific option is chosen.

All Express delivery orders must be placed no later than 11am to be posted the same day [Monday to Friday]. Orders placed after this day may be posted the following working day

Can I return an item?

We can accept goods back for exchange or refund or Credit, The goods need to be of re-saleable quality and all labels and relevant paperwork are present. We will not accept any item back that has been worn, or not in a re-saleable condition i.e animal hair's, odors from smoke or fragrances, or any sign that goods have been used other than inspecting indoors.

As it’s the buyer’s responsibility to post goods back, we highly recommend using a courier with the correct insurance and proof of delivery back to us. We cannot be held liable for items lost in post.

Before sending your item back please make sure of the following

  • The item is still in a new and unused condition, free of odours and pet hairs
  • All labels and swing tags are still attached to the garment, and any boxed items are kept in the original box.
  • Any items which are blister packed are still in the condition in which they are sent.
  • Tents and canopies have not been erected and still in their original box.
  • If your order included a promotional item (such as a free gift or multi-buy offer), all items must be returned in full to qualify for a complete refund; otherwise, the value of any retained items will be deducted from your refund.
