Lightweight and compact enough to carry for emergencies yet tough and dependable for all-day wear, the Saltoro is the perfect waterproof and windproof shell for trekkers, backpackers, and hillwalkers facing unpredictable mountain weather.

Built with next-generation GORE-TEX featuring an ePE membrane and a durable 75D face fabric, the Saltoro provides a comfortable, waterproof barrier that stands up to regular use with a pack. Its refined Alpine fit and articulated, pre-shaped sleeves reduce bulk while ensuring unrestricted movement, giving you the freedom to tackle technical terrain with confidence.

The fully adjustable, helmet-compatible Mountain Hood offers reliable protection against driving rain, while a dropped rear hem, adjustable laminated cuffs, and dual tether hem drawcords enhance coverage and fit. A YKK® moulded Aquaguard® front zip with an internal storm flap provides extra defense against heavy rain, while zipped underarm vents help regulate temperature during steep climbs or humid conditions.

With two large zipped pockets for maps and essentials, the Saltoro is a versatile and protective layer—whether packed as a backup or worn throughout the day—designed for those who demand performance without compromise.

First, make sure you follow any washing instructions, that will be located within the garment. Avoid any Detergents or Fabric softeners, and washing machines are clean and free from any debris. [Put on a Rinse Cycle prior]

How do I Re-Proof Waterproof Jacket's or Trouser's?

First, how to know when a waterproof garment needs re proofing. When new any waterproof Jacket or Trouser in the rain the water should bead up and roll of the jacket. This is the DWR coating on the outside performing as it should.

What should i wear under a Waterproof Jacket?

What you wear under a waterproof jacket can be a very subjective question depending on what activity you are doing. A proper layering system can certainly help any waterproof jacket with its performance and breathability.


To start with a suitable base layer, Choose either a long or short sleeve wicking t-shirt such as polyester, wool or similar you will feel allot warmer and no clammy moisture against your skin. Please avoid any cotton fabrics as these can both hold moisture and take longer to dry.


A midlayer can be any of your choosing depending on how warm you wish to be. A pull over fleece or full zip fleece jacket will be ideal. If in colder weather a suitable synthetic or down insulated jacket with add further warmth however may be too warm if on a very active activity.

Can I return an item?

We can accept goods back for exchange or refund or Credit, The goods need to be of re-saleable quality and all labels and relevant paperwork are present. We will not accept any item back that has been worn, or not in a re-saleable condition i.e animal hair's, odors from smoke or fragrances, or any sign that goods have been used other than inspecting indoors.

As it’s the buyer’s responsibility to post goods back, we highly recommend using a courier with the correct insurance and proof of delivery back to us. We cannot be held liable for items lost in post.

Before sending your item back please make sure of the following

  • The item is still in a new and unused condition, free of odours and pet hairs
  • All labels and swing tags are still attached to the garment, and any boxed items are kept in the original box.
  • Any items which are blister packed are still in the condition in which they are sent.
  • Tents and canopies have not been erected and still in their original box.
  • If your order included a promotional item (such as a free gift or multi-buy offer), all items must be returned in full to qualify for a complete refund; otherwise, the value of any retained items will be deducted from your refund.
