The Switch Pro Hooded Jacket is engineered for these fast-changing conditions, delivering highly breathable active insulation that regulates body temperature when you’re moving hard in the mountains. It wicks moisture on demanding ascents, traps warmth during exposed stops, and keeps you focused on the climb — not on changing layers.
 
Innovative Active Insulation
At the core of the Switch Pro is Octayarn Warp-knit lining — a lightweight, high-performance alternative to traditional fleece. Made from hollow, multi-dentate fibres with eight cog-like projections, Octayarn’s intricate 3D structure increases surface area to trap warm air and accelerate moisture transfer. The result is impressive warmth and wicking performance with significantly less weight and bulk — offering the thickness of an 80-denier fibre at roughly half the weight.
 
Constructed in a highly breathable warp-knit without an inner face fabric, the lining maximises moisture movement to keep you comfortable during intense efforts, especially on technical terrain where stopping to adjust layers isn’t practical. On the sleeves, the Octayarn lining is reversed to maintain insulation while preventing snagging against base layers and allowing unrestricted reach.
 
Technical Protection & Stretch
A lightweight 20D ripstop nylon outer provides wind resistance, mechanical stretch, and a PFAS-free DWR finish to shed light rain and spindrift. Strategically placed panels of bluesign® approved Pontetorto® Tecnostretch 187 fleece — positioned under the arms, along the sides, and through the hood — enhance breathability, improve fit, and reduce bulk for efficient layering. Produced at a family-run Italian mill, this premium stretch fleece delivers outstanding performance and mobility, helping prevent overheating while allowing complete freedom of movement.

Can I return an item?

We can accept goods back for exchange or refund or Credit, The goods need to be of re-saleable quality and all labels and relevant paperwork are present. We will not accept any item back that has been worn, or not in a re-saleable condition i.e animal hair's, odors from smoke or fragrances, or any sign that goods have been used other than inspecting indoors.

As it’s the buyer’s responsibility to post goods back, we highly recommend using a courier with the correct insurance and proof of delivery back to us. We cannot be held liable for items lost in post.

Before sending your item back please make sure of the following

  • The item is still in a new and unused condition, free of odours and pet hairs
  • All labels and swing tags are still attached to the garment, and any boxed items are kept in the original box.
  • Any items which are blister packed are still in the condition in which they are sent.
  • Tents and canopies have not been erected and still in their original box.
  • If your order included a promotional item (such as a free gift or multi-buy offer), all items must be returned in full to qualify for a complete refund; otherwise, the value of any retained items will be deducted from your refund.
