Combining the reliable weather protection of a waterproof shell with the exceptional warmth of a down jacket, this versatile insulated jacket is designed for cold, wet hikes, winter walking and demanding outdoor adventures.

Constructed using lightweight 20D Pertex® Shield 2-layer waterproof fabric, the Microlight Shield provides dependable protection against rain, snow and wind without unnecessary bulk. With a 20,000mm hydrostatic head rating and 20,000g/m²/24h breathability, it keeps the elements out while allowing moisture vapour to escape during active use. A fluorocarbon-free durable water-repellent (DWR) finish provides additional protection against wet weather.

Filled with 700 fill power recycled down treated with a Grangers hydrophobic finish, the jacket delivers excellent warmth for its weight while helping the insulation resist moisture. The innovative body-mapped baffle construction uses larger micro baffles across key areas for enhanced down loft and heat retention, while smaller nano baffles along the sides and beneath the arms reduce bulk and improve freedom of movement.

Designed for comfort and practicality in the mountains, the Microlight Shield features fully articulated sleeves for unrestricted movement when hiking, scrambling or navigating technical terrain. An adjustable hood with an integrated peak helps shield your face from rain, while internally elasticated cuffs and a drawcord-adjustable hem help seal out cold draughts and retain warmth.

Two insulated hand pockets sit behind the down baffles to provide extra warmth for cold hands, while a zipped chest pocket offers secure storage for essentials such as a map, snacks or small valuables. A YKK® VISLON® AquaGuard® front zip with an insulated zip baffle provides additional weather protection and helps prevent heat loss.

Most deliveries are made per working day [Monday to Friday] and exclude bank holidays, If you feel you will not be in to receive your parcel, please take advantage of using a different delivery address where someone can take delivery. Can I return an item?

We can accept goods back for exchange or refund or Credit, The goods need to be of re-saleable quality and all labels and relevant paperwork are present. We will not accept any item back that has been worn, or not in a re-saleable condition i.e animal hair's, odors from smoke or fragrances, or any sign that goods have been used other than inspecting indoors.

As it’s the buyer’s responsibility to post goods back, we highly recommend using a courier with the correct insurance and proof of delivery back to us. We cannot be held liable for items lost in post.

Before sending your item back please make sure of the following

• The item is still in a new and unused condition, free of odours and pet hairs
• All labels and swing tags are still attached to the garment, and any boxed items are kept in the original box.
• Any items which are blister packed are still in the condition in which they are sent.
• Tents and canopies have not been erected and still in their original box.
• If your order included a promotional item (such as a free gift or multi-buy offer), all items must be returned in full to qualify for a complete refund; otherwise, the value of any retained items will be deducted from your refund.
