A ladies' fleece is a versatile piece for your outdoor kit, offering reliable warmth and breathability for a wide range of activities. Fleece is a practical mid-layer, designed to trap air and provide insulation whilst being lightweight. We stock a variety of styles, from the convenient half-zip fleece women’s pullover, which maximises heat retention, to the full-zip jacket for easier ventilation. Whether you need a lightweight layer for hiking or a substantial fleece for camping, our selection of ladies' fleece jackets from top brands provides durable and comfortable options.

Layer up with a women’s fleece

The primary function of a womens fleece jacket is its role within a three-layer system: worn over a base layer and under a waterproof shell. This combination provides efficient temperature regulation by allowing you to add or remove insulation as needed. A good quality fleece will wick moisture, preventing the chill that comes from sweat. For more information on layering, read our guide on What to Wear Hiking in Cooler Weather.
