Job Vacancy – Shop / E-commerce Assistant

Location: Blackburn, Lancashire UK

Hours: Full-time

We are a fast-growing independently owned camping and outdoor store looking for two Shop / E-commerce Assistant’s to join our team in Blackburn. The successful candidate(s) will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to our in-store and online customers, as well as supporting our expanding e-commerce operation.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting and assisting customers in the store.
• Handling customer queries and complaints in a professional manner.
• Processing sales transactions and handling cash and card payments.
• Assisting with online order fulfillment and shipping.
• Updating product listings and prices on our e-commerce platform.
• Processing goods in deliveries.
• Maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Requirements:

• Previous retail or customer service experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash and inventory.
• Experience or interest in camping and outdoor activities is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with online order fulfillment and MS Office is desirable, but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Flexibility to work weekends and some holidays as required.
